Session Central is the creator community for Scrybe: a place for artists, producers, songwriters, engineers, photographers, videographers, managers and studios to find each other, talk shop, show their work and find work. By creating an account or using Session Central, you agree to these terms and to the community guidelines. How we handle your information is in the privacy policy.
Who can use Session Central
- You must be 18 or older.
- While Session Central is in its pilot, joining needs an invite.
- One person, one account. Don't create accounts for someone else, or to get around a restriction, a suspension or a ban.
- Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
Your account and your identity
- Verified means verified on MyScrybe. The Verified badge comes only from a MyScrybe artist account that Scrybe has verified, linked to your Session Central account. Nobody at Session Central can grant it, and it can't be bought.
- Don't pretend to be someone else. A name or handle that matches a Verified artist's is flagged for our moderators. Using another artist's or label's name to mislead people can get an account restricted or banned.
- Non-verified members are welcome. Their profiles, message requests and opportunities show a caution line. Please take care when exchanging information or payments with non-verified members.
What you post
- You keep the rights to what you post. You let Session Central show it to the people your settings allow, for as long as it's up, so the service can work.
- Post only what you have the right to share. Music on Session Central comes from MyScrybe; links to other platforms are welcome.
- You can edit your posts and comments for 24 hours and delete them at any time. You can delete your account; your posts and comments then show as "Deleted member".
Payments and work
Session Central doesn't handle money between members in this version. Agreements you make with other members, including any payment, are between you and them. Be careful with anyone who asks you to pay outside a service that protects you.
Messages
Your messages are private between you and the other person. Moderators see a conversation only when one of its people reports a message in it, and then only the reported message and the 20 before it.
Moderation
- Anyone can report a post, a comment, a message, a person or a subsession. Moderators look at urgent reports (scams, impersonation, threats, self-harm and sexual content) within 48 hours, and everything else within 5 business days.
- Moderators may remove content, warn you, stop you posting, messaging or uploading for a while, suspend your account, or (for the most serious cases) ban it. A suspended or banned account can still sign in and read.
- You'll be told why, and until when. You can appeal from Settings → Account status: someone other than the moderator who acted looks at it again.
- Every moderation action is recorded.
Leaving
You can deactivate your account (and come back by signing in within 30 days) or delete it from Settings → Account.
Changes
We'll say on this page when these terms change. If a change matters for how you use Session Central, we'll tell you in the app before it applies.
